Random Ish
Many of the works in this issue were created using random means, often a modified cut-up approach, but occasionally natural phenomena, such as fire, were used. In keeping with what had become the PhotoStatic custom, or habit born of necessity, many of the works deal with the prescribed theme only glancingly. It is easy to see from this that PhotoStatic was in fact merely a structure into which to “hang” works that these artists would be making anyway.
